DMCA Copyright Policy

ISHRUTI LLC ("iShruti") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA") and respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.

Designated Copyright Agent

All DMCA notices must be directed to our designated copyright agent:

Submitting a Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on the iShruti Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing all of the following:

Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works on a single site are covered)
Identification of the infringing material — A description of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URLs are ideal)
Your contact information — Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
Accuracy statement — A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
Physical or electronic signature — Your physical or electronic signature

Notices that do not include all of the above may not be acted upon.

Our Response to Valid Notices

Upon receipt of a complete and valid DMCA notice, iShruti will:

Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
Notify the user who posted the material that it has been removed
Provide the user with a copy of the notice (with your contact info redacted to just email, unless you indicate otherwise)

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our copyright agent containing:

Your physical or electronic signature
Identification of the material that was removed, and the location where it appeared before removal
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located (or for international users, the Southern District of New York), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, iShruti will forward it to the original complainant and restore the removed material within 10–14 business days, unless the complainant provides notice that they have filed a court action.

Repeat Infringers

iShruti will terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at iShruti's sole discretion.

Misuse Warning

Filing a false DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in civil liability. Ensure all statements are accurate before submitting.
